Argentina's 2026 Calendar Shows Six Long Weekends Remaining

Argentina's official 2026 holiday calendar indicates that six long weekends remain after the June holiday marking the Paso a la Inmortalidad del General Martín Miguel de Güemes (June 13‑15). The next extended break is the Independence period, offering four consecutive days off from July 9 to July 12. Subsequent long weekends are scheduled for August 15‑17 (General José de San Martín), October 10‑12 (Day of Respect for Cultural Diversity), November 21‑23 (National Sovereignty Day) and December 5‑8 (Immaculate Conception, combined with a non‑working day).

June 20 is observed as an immovable holiday commemorating the Paso a la Inmortalidad del General Manuel Belgrano, the creator of the Argentine flag, and does not create an additional long weekend. The calendar also lists other single‑day holidays such as the Day of the Father on June 21 and Christmas on December 25.
