Argentina's Agrarian Schools Earn Gold and Bronze at Brazil's 2026 Agricultural Olympiad

Brazil Agricultural Olympiad Argentina agrarian schools Gold medal Uberaba Saladillo reception

The 15th Brazilian Agricultural Olympiad (OBAP 2026) took place in Uberaba, Minas Gerais, Brazil. Argentine delegations from the Escuela de Educación Agraria Nº 1 “Martín Fierro” in Arrecifes and the Escuela Agraria N° 1 of Cazón (Saladillo district) participated.

The Arrecifes team secured the Group Gold Medal in the International category; student María Mercedes Solera Tolini won an individual Gold medal and Josefina Motta earned Silver. The Cazón team finished fourth overall, and student Sofía López captured an individual Bronze in the theoretical test. After returning to Saladillo, the Cazón students were welcomed by municipal authorities, the mayor and education officials, who presented them with local recognitions.
