2026 Brazilian Agricultural Olympiad

The 15th Brazilian Agricultural Olympiad (OBAP 2026) was held in Uberaba, Minas Gerais, featuring participants from 19 Brazilian states as well as Argentina, Colombia, and Paraguay.

Argentine delegations from the Escuela de Educación Agraria Nº 1 “Martín Fierro” and the Escuela Agraria N° 1 of Cazón achieved notable success. The Arrecifes team secured a Group Gold Medal in the International category, with student María Mercedes Solera Tolini winning an individual Gold medal. The Cazón team placed fourth overall, with student Sofía López earning an individual Bronze in the theoretical test.

In the Subsequente category, students from the Senar Minas e-Tec Network achieved a sweep of the gold, silver, and bronze medals. The gold medal was awarded to the team from the Conselheiro Lafaiete hub, with Nathália Camila de Souza securing the highest individual score in the category. Celso Furtado Júnior, superintendent of Senar Minas, noted that the results highlight the effectiveness of technical education in preparing professionals for the agriculture and livestock sectors.
