Argentina's Caminos y Sabores Fair Showcases Misiones Products and Dulce de Leche Winner
Governor Hugo Passalacqua of Misiones attended the Caminos y Sabores fair, held July 9‑12 in Buenos Aires, to promote the province’s gastronomy and tourism. He toured the provincial stand, which featured mate‑infused capsules, gluten‑free snacks, tapioca and mandioca products, yerba‑mate desserts, and river‑fish items, stressing that the exhibition gives “enormous value” to Misiones by attracting visitors and showcasing regional food identity.
At the same event, Dulce de Leche & Co secured the Best Dulce de Leche award, its third win. Co‑founders Luis González and Matías Bruno recalled their ten‑year journey from Tandil to a national brand, noting the prize “is a great pride” and fuels further innovation. Their company now operates ten stores in Buenos Aires, a shop in Santa Fe, and a distribution plant in Porto Alegre, Brazil. The fair also honored other regional products, including I Love Mate (Misiones) yerba mate, Praderas Neuquinas honey, Fermier semi‑hard cheese, Cagnoli thick‑cut salami, Familia Saleme extra‑virgin olive oil, and Eternal Argentine gin.
