Argentina's Catamarca and Chubut Promote Winter Tourism in July 2026

The province of Catamarca has scheduled an extensive winter cultural and tourism program for July 2026, featuring gastronomic fairs, traditional celebrations and artisan events. Highlights include the Fiesta Municipal del Tamal on July 9, the Fiesta de la Capia on July 12, a classic‑car gathering in Andalgalá, the XII Marcha de los Ponchos on July 14, the Festival Cuna del Poncho on July 18, the Fiesta del Adobe on July 19 and the National and International Poncho Festival in the capital from July 17‑26.

Meanwhile, the government of Chubut is taking part in the Feria Caminos y Sabores held in Buenos Aires from July 9‑12. The province will showcase its tourism and gastronomy through a 360° virtual‑reality experience, live cooking demonstrations by chef Enzo Mayorgade, and promotion of its digital Tourist Passport, which offers discounts and benefits for visitors across Chubut’s destinations.
