Argentina's Interior Minister Santilli meets Governor Frigerio to advance electoral reform

Argentina's Interior Minister Diego Santilli held a meeting at the Casa Rosada with Entre Ríos Governor Rogelio Frigerio. The two officials, both members of the PRO coalition, discussed coordinating a joint agenda between the national government and the province.

The core focus of the talks was the proposed electoral reform aimed at eliminating the open primary system (PASO). Santilli has been seeking provincial support for the change, and Frigerio expressed backing for the modifications. The meeting also covered broader legislative priorities that the ruling coalition plans to advance in the coming months.

Both participants highlighted the importance of aligning positions ahead of the upcoming congressional debate, describing the reform as a principal objective of the interior ministry.
