Argentina's Neuquén traffic cut suspended, Río Negro to finish key roundabout

The Neuquén municipality announced that the planned traffic shutdown on the main bridge entry into the city on Sunday, July 12, has been cancelled due to operational issues, allowing normal traffic flow for the weekend. The suspension applies only to the bridge crossing; other works on the Gran Avenida continue as scheduled.

Separately, Río Negro Governor Alberto Weretilneck confirmed that the province will assume responsibility for completing the roundabout at the junction of national routes 22 and 250 in Choele Choel. The project, long demanded by local residents, is part of a broader plan to improve road safety and support agricultural and energy development in the Valle Medio region.
