Argentina's provinces launch new programs to boost youth employment and vocational training
Governor Ricardo Quintela of La Rioja visited the O&D company to showcase the provincial TECNOEMPLEO program, which currently places 150 young people in technology internships and introduced the “La Rioja Comercial” app to support local commerce. He emphasized the role of public policies in preparing the next generation for digital jobs.
In the Buenos Aires province, the Ministry of Community Development delivered 30 barber‑school kits to the municipality of Ezeiza under the “Emprender para Crecer” and “Fortalecer para Crecer” initiatives. Officials highlighted the importance of vocational training and equipment provision for increasing job opportunities for youth and adults.
Both actions illustrate provincial efforts to create practical pathways for young people into the labour market through targeted training, apprenticeships and resource allocation.
