Argentina's Provincial Government Boosts Support for Local Producers via Development Agencies

Governor Elías Suárez's administration sent Minister of Production Néstor Machado and senior officials on a tour of the province's Territorial Development Agencies in Ojo de Agua, Los Telares, Clodomira, El Cruce, Frías, Fernández and Loreto. The delegation, including Sub‑secretary Ángel Iñiguez, Agency Director Claudio Nicolau, Agriculture and Livestock Director Javier Togo and Marcelo Banegas, inspected newly installed machinery, tools and inputs, met with agency staff and local producers, and outlined a program to improve technical assistance, value‑chain development and resource allocation. The visits aim to strengthen the agencies' operational capacity and deliver more efficient, sustainable support to regional agricultural and livestock producers in line with the governor's vision of integrated, innovative production development.
