Argentina's public universities launch new student employment and tutoring programs

The National University of the Litoral (UNL) expanded its First Employment initiative, offering a network of internships, a digital job portal, and labor‑market training. In 2025 the program hosted 1,070 active internships, grew partnership agreements to 580, and signed 667 new internship contracts. The UNL Employment Portal recorded 16,213 active users, processed 46,680 curriculum submissions and facilitated 1,929 job interviews, connecting students with over 1,000 private firms and public institutions.

The National University of Cuyo (UNCUYO) opened enrollment for a three‑month peer‑tutoring training course aimed at strengthening student support and academic performance. The program, coordinated by the university’s Academic Secretariat and support services, provides theoretical and practical tools for peer tutors, offers official certification and academic credits, and runs from late June to September. It seeks to improve student retention, study skills, and socio‑emotional development across the university’s faculties.
