Argentina's RENATRE expands rural safety training and employment program

On July 22, 2026, the Registro Nacional de Trabajadores Rurales y Empleadores (RENATRE) and the Unión de Trabajadores Rurales y Empleadores (UATRE) held a comprehensive safety and emergency training for rural workers at Estancia Los Flamencos in Tierra del Fuego. Delegates Leonardo Ariel Aguilar and engineer Marcelo Jorge Paolantonio led sessions on risk prevention, first aid and proper use of fire extinguishers, stressing the goal of reducing workplace accidents.

At the same time, RENATRE opened registration for the free Programa de Empleo Rural (PER). Launched in March, the program matches rural job seekers with agricultural employers across Argentina, already containing more than 5,000 worker profiles. President Abel Guerrieri said the initiative “allows more people to access registered employment and strengthens productivity in the sector.” The PER also supports training to improve employability.
