Argentina's RENATRE launches free platform to match rural workers with employers

The Registro Nacional de Trabajadores Rurales y Empleadores (RENATRE) introduced the free Programa Empleo Rural, an online tool that lets employers post job needs and automatically matches them with registered rural workers across Argentina. The platform records each worker’s employment history and training, allowing candidates to apply from any province and indicating willingness to relocate.

At the 138th Rural Expo and Jornada Ganadera in Buenos Aires, RENATRE also unveiled the Certificación Empresarial de Prácticas Laborales Sostenibles (PLS), an annual renewable seal for agribusinesses that meet current labor standards and promote decent work conditions. RENATRE president Abel Guerrieri said the certification helps firms demonstrate social‑environmental compliance to increasingly sustainability‑focused markets. Delegate Leonardo Aguilar highlighted that the new platform “facilitates the linkage between workers and employers” on a national scale.
