Argentina's Santa Fe and Rio Negro launch new flight routes to Brazil and Buenos Aires

The province of Santa Fe announced the inauguration of its first regular international air service, a weekly Saturday flight linking Sauce Viejo International Airport with Florianópolis, Brazil. The route will operate from 26 December through 27 March as part of a regional integration initiative, with provincial authorities including Minister Gustavo Puccini highlighting the potential for increased passenger, cargo and economic activity.

In Río Negro, Governor Alberto Weretilneck confirmed that Aerolíneas Argentinas will increase the Viedma–Buenos Aires corridor from four to six weekly flights starting 10 August. The additional frequencies, operated with Embraer 190 aircraft, aim to strengthen tourism, business travel and overall economic development in the Atlantic region of the province.
