Argentine communities plan celebrations for Evangelical and Protestant Church Day

Various communities in Argentina are preparing to observe the Day of Evangelical and Protestant Churches on October 31.

In Oberá, the City Council has declared the date of religious public interest, recognizing the spiritual and social contributions of evangelical congregations. Armando Gil, president of the Oberá Pastoral Council, noted that the recognition highlights the commitment of pastors and volunteers to supporting vulnerable families. The day will include a concentration at the Civic Center followed by a city walk featuring musical groups and expressions of faith.

In Balcarce, the Pastoral Council will host the “Fiesta de la Luz” at Plaza Libertad. This community event, established under National Law No. 27.741, will feature music, folklore, and children's activities. The celebration includes a solidarity component where attendees can donate non-perishable food and clothing. Collected items will be distributed to local institutions and the Dr. Felipe A. Fossati Subzonal Hospital, including baby kits for the pediatric ward.
