Argentine government clarifies ties between Milei and Cerimedo

The Argentine government has addressed questions regarding the relationship between President Javier Milei and political consultant Fernando Cerimedo. Presidential spokesperson Javier Ravier stated that the President ceased contact with Cerimedo in 2023, though he clarified that contact continued into the early months of 2024.

Official records from the Casa Rosada indicate that Cerimedo visited the government building at least 12 times during 2024, with some visits directed toward the General Secretariat of the Presidency, an area led by Karina Milei.

Additionally, reports highlight the role of Cerimedo’s former business associate, who has served as the National Director of Digital Communication for the Presidency since April 2024. This official is tasked with designing digital strategies and coordinating the dissemination of the administration's agenda. The individual previously co-founded La Derecha Diario with Cerimedo before transitioning into a formal government role.
