Argentine governors announce regional infrastructure projects

Argentine provincial leaders have announced various infrastructure and development projects during local anniversary celebrations in Río Mayo and Ituzaingó.

In Río Mayo, Governor Ignacio Torres signed agreements for several urban, sporting, and cultural works. Key projects include the construction of a new Cultural Center capable of hosting over 450 youths, the revitalization of the Cruz del Sur Natural Lookout, the construction of modules for street vendors, and the refurbishment of the Municipal Gymnasium. Additionally, the governor committed to new interlocking pavement and support for educational, health, and community institutions to stimulate the local economy.

In Corrientes, Governor Juan Pablo Valdés marked the 162nd anniversary of Ituzaingó by reaffirming provincial support for the city's growth. Following the city's transition from a port-focused economy to one involving an industrial park and forestry, Valdés announced plans for the paving of Pago Largo Avenue, new housing construction, and enhanced educational and training programs to support the expanding workforce.
