Argentine institutions hold CPR and emergency response training
Various institutions in Argentina are conducting training sessions focused on cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and the use of automated external defibrillators (AED) to improve emergency response capabilities.
The National University of Formosa (UNaF) organized a awareness day regarding sudden death. Dr. René Ruiz, head of the Secretariat of Science and Technology, emphasized that a prepared university must go beyond academic production to include the protection and care of its community through practical emergency tools.
In San Rafael, the Volunteer Firefighters Association is hosting a theoretical-practical workshop on CPR, AED use, and first aid. The proceeds from this training will be used to purchase essential equipment for the institution, which has noted the economic difficulties faced by volunteer fire departments in maintaining operational capacity.
