Argentine judicial professionals participate in forensic and juvenile law training
Judicial professionals from Tierra del Fuego participated in the III International Congress of Forensic Social Work held at the Universidad Católica de Salta. Representatives from the Judicial District North and the Transdisciplinary Observatory on Violence presented research regarding institutional reorganization and professional autonomy within the criminal justice system in Río Grande. Presentations also covered social imaginaries regarding masculinity and gender-based violence, as well as the interdisciplinary role of autopsies in investigating suicides.
In Chubut, the provincial government conducted a training session in Rawson to prepare for the implementation of the New Juvenile Criminal Regime. Over 120 agents, including technical teams and professionals from various protection and assisted liberty programs, received instruction on the modifications introduced by National Law No. 27.801. The training aimed to strengthen institutional responses and intervention practices for adolescents in conflict with criminal law.
