Argentine labor unions hold regional meetings and union expo

Labor organizations in Argentina held institutional meetings and expos to promote worker unity and address the current socio-economic context.

In La Plata, the CGT Regional La Plata, Berisso, and Ensenada organized an encounter under the slogan “Peace, Bread, Land, Housing, Work, and Sovereignty.” The event included representatives from various unions and social organizations, as well as Jorge Sola from the national CGT leadership. The gathering focused on social justice and the current economic situation, accompanied by a documentary titled “Loyalty to Social Justice.”

In Manuel Alberti, the CGT Zona Norte held its first Open Union Expo. The event drew hundreds of workers and featured various activities, including health checks, training, and recreational services. Organizers emphasized the importance of collective organization and unity to navigate current economic challenges and assist workers facing job losses.
