Argentine municipalities approve new vehicle fee rules and housing construction ordinance

In Santa Fe, the municipal council approved an ordinance proposed by councilor Lucas Simoniello that exempts the Cooperative Alba Iberá from paying the building‑rights fee for a project to construct 36 homes and several community spaces in the Liceo Norte neighbourhood. The land is provided by the city and financing of more than 540 million pesos comes from a provincial mortgage loan. The initiative aims to increase access to dignified housing for local families and is presented as a cooperative, community‑driven model.
