Argentine municipalities implement LED lighting upgrades
Municipalities in Argentina are advancing public lighting modernization through LED technology conversion projects.
In San Rafael, the local government is implementing a plan to replace sodium lamps with LED units in districts such as Cañada Seca and Goudge. The initiative aims to improve visibility, enhance security, and optimize energy consumption. Following current works on Route 143 and the Goudge district, the schedule includes Real del Padre, Las Paredes, and Villa Atuel.
In Venado Tuerto, authorities completed the replacement of 120 LED luminaires on Castelli Street, spanning from Rivadavia to Lussenhoff. This project, conducted in coordination with the Electrical Cooperative of Venado Tuerto, serves the Centro I, Norte, and Malvinas Argentinas neighborhoods to improve nighttime transit and urban infrastructure.
