Argentine municipalities launch tenders for heavy machinery

Municipalities in Argentina have announced new public tenders for heavy machinery procurement.

Estancia Grande has opened a bidding process for a new motor grader with a budget of up to $205 million. The required equipment must feature a diesel engine with at least 150 HP, 6x4 traction, and a minimum operating weight of 13 tons. The machine is intended for road maintenance within the municipality, with a required delivery period of 30 days following the award.

In the province of Entre Ríos, the Municipality of San Salvador has issued public tender 02/2026 for the purchase of a hydraulic excavator on tracks. The official budget for this acquisition is set at $210 million. The opening of bids is scheduled for September 4, 2026.
