Argentine political leaders call for unity and electoral clarity

Political leaders within the Justicialist Movement (PJ) in Argentina are calling for unity and electoral clarity ahead of upcoming cycles. In Tucumán, Governor Osvaldo Jaldo urged party members to set aside personal and political differences to establish a cohesive national formula for next year’s federal elections. Jaldo emphasized that the movement must build a valid alternative capable of not only winning but also governing effectively.

In San Luis, former governor Alberto Rodríguez Saá challenged current governor Claudio Poggi to set a specific date for the 2027 provincial elections. Speaking at a Peronist Loyalty Day event, Rodríguez Saá criticized the current administration’s lack of public works and called for the PJ to reclaim provincial and municipal offices. He pledged to prioritize social peace and dignified salaries if returned to power.
