Argentine provinces advance economic and technological development initiatives

In Argentina, regional authorities are advancing initiatives to boost economic development and technological innovation. In Santiago del Estero, the Economic and Social Council met at the SDE Technological Node to identify strategic pillars for the knowledge economy. Key focus areas include evaluating the Knowledge Economy Promotion Law and analyzing capital funds to facilitate financing for local small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).

In Córdoba, Governor Martín Llaryoray swore in Fernando Sibilla as the new Minister of Production, Science, and Technological Innovation. Sibilla’s mandate involves continuing productive development policies, strengthening competitiveness, and fostering collaboration between the state and the private sector to promote investment and job creation. The ministry aims to enhance innovation, sustainability, and the export capacity of local companies.
