Argentine universities launch new academic and infrastructure projects
Several Argentine universities are launching new academic and infrastructure initiatives. The National University of La Plata (UNLP) has begun expansion works on its University Dental Hospital to increase capacity for its 1,800 daily patients and support complex postgraduate specialties through a new two-story annex equipped with modern technology.
The National University of Mar del Plata (UNMDP) is hosting various community and academic events. These include the EXPLORAR entrepreneurship workshop at the Atlantis Innovation Center, a diploma program on food sovereignty organized with the State Workers Association (ATE), and an upcoming Educational Showcase designed to introduce high school students to university life through interactive technology and vocational guidance.
Additionally, researcher Virginia Echarren presented the second edition of her book, ‘Cuando se pinta la historia’, at UNMDP. The work investigates the historical and patrimonial value of a mural depicting the foundational era of Mar del Plata.
