Río Grande expands academic offerings through Universidad CAECE agreement
The Municipality of Río Grande and Universidad CAECE have signed a collaboration agreement to expand the academic offerings available in the city. The partnership, signed by Mayor Martín Perez and Rector Dr. Paulo Falcón, aims to deepen institutional ties and create new opportunities for academic, scientific, and cultural exchange.
The new academic proposals will cover fields such as education, innovation, mental health, commerce, administration, and private activity. These offerings will include undergraduate, graduate, and postgraduate programs, complementing the existing options provided by public and private universities in the region.
To facilitate access, the agreement includes subsidized tuition rates provided by the university and a scholarship scheme designed to support local youth who choose to continue their studies within Río Grande. The initiative also involves the exchange of teachers, resources, and professional experiences between the two institutions.
