Argentine universities strengthen ties with industry and local government
Academic institutions in Argentina are expanding their ties with the productive and local government sectors to drive regional development.
The National University of Moreno (UNM) is strengthening its relationship with the company Vetanco through the Biotechnology Innovation and Research Program. Supported by the Technological Innovation Fund of the Province of Buenos Aires (FITBA), the collaboration focuses on Research and Development (R&D) to apply scientific and technical capabilities to the specific needs of the local productive sector.
Simultaneously, the National University of La Plata (UNLP) has signed an agreement with the Municipality of Moreno. This partnership aims to integrate university knowledge with territorial needs through joint initiatives in research, teaching, and university extension. The agreement establishes a framework for cooperation, information exchange, and the implementation of specific development projects designed to transform academic knowledge into public policy and community tools.
