Argentinian chefs win Prix Baron B, secure Mirazur internship

Three Argentine chefs—Facundo Maroñas, Francisco Soldi and Elio Contreras—participated in the Proyecto Pescado competition and were awarded the Prix Baron B – Édition Cuisine. The prize includes a three‑month internship at Mirazur, the three‑star restaurant of Mauro Colagreco in Menton, France, as well as a cash award of 3 000 000 Argentine pesos.

The win highlights the chefs' focus on sustainable seafood and aims to showcase Argentine marine products on the world stage. The competition remains open for submissions until 20 July, with a final event scheduled for 27 August at the Faena Art Center.
