Argentinian towns inaugurate new municipal infrastructure on July 9

The municipality of 9 de Julio opened a new entrance portal to the La Majadita district, installing 84 LED streetlights and extending electrical networks across several streets. Mayor Daniel Banega said the portal symbolizes local identity and aims to boost tourism and safety for residents.

In Cipolletti, a new two‑lane bridge was inaugurated in the Michi Michi rural neighborhood, improving access and security for local families. Mayor Rodrigo Buteler highlighted the bridge as a long‑awaited project that enhances connectivity for the city’s outskirts. Both ceremonies took place on Argentina’s national holiday, July 9, and featured community performances and remarks from local officials.
