Argillà Italia festival to showcase ceramic innovation and art in Faenza

The international ceramics festival Argillà Italia, scheduled for September 2026 in Faenza, will feature a diverse program focused on the intersection of ceramic tradition, research, and sustainable innovation. ISIA Faenza will host several initiatives, including the presentation of Clarmony, a new European digital platform designed to connect international networks of ceramic artists, designers, and educators. This platform is a result of the CERE project, supported by European funding and the Emilia-Romagna Region.

In conjunction with the festival, the International Museum of Ceramics (MIC) in Faenza will host the second act of Giorgia Severi’s exhibition, ‘Losing Cultural Landscapes’. Curated by Giovanni Gardini, the exhibition explores the changing natural and cultural landscapes of the Romagna region. This installment, titled ‘Pinus sativa’, utilizes casts created in collaboration with Ceramica Gatti 1928 to document the pine forests that have historically shaped the coastal ecosystem and local identity.
