Argyle and PointServ launch new mortgage income verification tools
Argyle and PointServ have introduced new digital verification solutions designed to streamline the mortgage origination process through direct-source payroll data and automated income calculations.
Argyle has launched Direct VOIE+, a service that integrates Freddie Mac’s AIM Check API with direct-source payroll data. This tool provides mortgage lenders with calculated monthly income earlier in the process, aiming to reduce manual errors, accelerate borrower qualification, and minimize costly rework during the underwriting stage.
PointServ has announced that its consumer-permissioned payroll Verification of Income and Employment (VOIE) report is now eligible for use with Fannie Mae’s Desktop Underwriter (DU) validation service. By electronically submitting data to Fannie Mae, lenders can receive Day 1 Certainty for validated loan components, which may provide relief from certain documentation requirements and warranties, subject to Fannie Mae guidelines.
