Ario de Rosales water supply project launched in Michoacán

Governor Alfredo Ramírez Bedolla has launched the construction of a new water supply line in Ario de Rosales, Michoacán. The project aims to improve potable water distribution for more than 9,000 residents.

The infrastructure work involves the installation of 2,703 meters of piping and includes a disinfection station to ensure water quality. The total investment for the project is 5 million pesos, funded through a tripartite agreement: the National Water Commission (Conagua) will provide 40 percent, the Michoacán State Water and Basin Management Commission (Ceac) will contribute 25 percent, and the Ario municipal government will cover the remaining 35 percent.

Additionally, the state government plans to drill two new wells next year to further increase water availability for the population. Construction is expected to be completed by December.
