Aris and Iraklis agree to ticket exchange for derby matches

Aris and Iraklis have reached an agreement regarding ticket exchanges and fan travel for their upcoming derby matches in the Stoiximan Super League. The initiative aims to allow supporters from both clubs to attend matches at both the Kleanthis Vikelidis Stadium and the Kaftanzoglio Stadium during both rounds of the season.

The first scheduled meeting between the two Thessaloniki-based clubs will take place on September 19 at the Kleanthis Vikelidis Stadium. The second match is slated for the 14th round of the championship at Kaftanzoglio Stadium.

While the clubs have reached a mutual understanding to foster a more positive atmosphere, the implementation of the agreement is strictly subject to approval from the Greek police and relevant security authorities. In Greek football, fan travel is frequently restricted by the state due to public order concerns, making the practical application of this agreement a significant test for the clubs' efforts to normalize match-day environments.
