Aris Panagiotidis proposed as temporary CEO of ERT
Aris Panagiotidis, the current General Director of ERT3, has been proposed as the temporary CEO of the Greek public broadcaster ERT. The proposal was made by government spokesperson Pavlos Marinakis.
This recommendation follows the resignation of the outgoing CEO, Konstantinos Papavasileiou, who had held the position since January 2025. The proposal will be formally submitted to the upcoming ERT General Assembly in accordance with Law 5062/2023, which governs the selection of management in the public sector.
Following the General Assembly, the permanent replacement process will be managed by ASEP. The selection is expected to involve a public call for interest, application scoring, and written examinations to ensure transparency and meritocracy.
