PAOK FC defeats Panetolikos 3-1 to secure third consecutive win

PAOK FC secured a 3-1 victory against Panetolikos in Agrinio, marking their third consecutive win across all competitions. The team achieved goals through Taha Ali and two others, though the match was marked by a shoulder injury to Ali and difficulty managing the lead in the second half.

Following the win, coach Alessio Lisi rewarded the squad with an extended break, granting two additional days of leave. Players will return to training on Sunday to prepare for the league restart, following a structured individual program to maintain physical condition.

In post-match comments, player Christian Yakidis praised the performance of teammates Dimitris Giannoulis and Christos Zafeiris. Meanwhile, Panetolikos coach Giannis Anastasiou noted that while the team showed determination, they lacked the necessary creativity and quality in the final third to challenge PAOK effectively.
