In early June PAOK launched a summer recruitment drive, securing MLS winger Liel Abada, Danish forward Sæbjon Silnt and, on 28 June, free‑transfer centre‑back Aritz Elustondo on a two‑year contract with an optional third year, while intensifying interest in left‑back Dimitris Giannoulis. Ticket sales for the 2026‑27 campaign launched the next day, accompanied by a promotional video “Tomorrow Has Your Name On It”. On 24 July new coach Aleš Lisá unveiled a high‑pressing, rapid‑transition system as PAOK opened the season with a 3‑0 win over Dynamo Kyiv in Lublin, rotating the squad and emphasizing stamina and positive energy.
