Arizona restaurants earn 19 selections in inaugural MICHELIN Guide Southwest

The inaugural MICHELIN Guide Southwest has been released, covering Arizona, Nevada, New Mexico, and Utah. Arizona received 19 total selections, including seven Bib Gourmand designations, which recognize establishments offering high-quality food at an approachable value. While no Arizona restaurants received MICHELIN Stars in this guide, the state led the region in Bib Gourmand awards.

Individual culinary honors were also distributed in Arizona. René Andrade of Bacanora and Huarachis Taqueria received the MICHELIN Young Chef Award. Charleen Badman of FnB was honored with the MICHELIN Mindful Voices Award for her commitment to local sourcing and community advocacy. Additionally, John Germain of RESERVE received the MICHELIN Sommelier Award for his wine program.

Bib Gourmand recipients in Arizona include FnB, Huarachis Taqueria, Kid Sister, Little Miss BBQ, Lom Wong, Pizzeria Bianco, and Valentine. Other recognized establishments include Bacanora, Christopher’s at Wrigley Mansion, Fry Bread House, Glai Baan, Latha, Pretty Penny, Tratto, Hush Public House, RESERVE, ShinBay, Atria, and INDIBAR.
