Żarki Primary School Wins €56,113 Erasmus+ Grant

The Władysław Szafera Primary School in Żarki, Poland, was awarded a €56,113 grant under the EU Erasmus+ programme for its project “Small and Large Travels – Following the Little Prince.” The 18‑month initiative aims to promote reading, creativity, critical thinking and intercultural competence while combating hate, exclusion and intolerance. A team of 13 teachers will receive specialist training and lead students on an educational trip to France to foster openness, respect and empathy. The project was rated 89 out of 100 by experts from the National Erasmus+ Agency and the European Solidarity Corps.
