Salamanca and La Aurora report fatal armed attacks

Multiple violent incidents have been reported in Salamanca, Mexico, and the La Aurora sector of Daule, Ecuador.

In Salamanca, Guanajuato, two separate shootings occurred on Wednesday. In the San Gonzalo neighborhood, an armed attack targeted a blue Kia vehicle on Tomasa Esteves Street, resulting in the death of the driver. Additionally, a man working as a windshield cleaner was shot and killed near the intersection of Morelos Boulevard and Pluripartidista Street in the San Pedro neighborhood. Authorities are investigating both cases, and no arrests have been made.

In Ecuador, an armed attack took place at a commercial plaza in the La Aurora parish, Daule. The incident, which involved a shootout near a dental clinic, left one person dead and another injured. Witnesses reported seeing individuals on a blue motorcycle involved in the attack. One of the deceased has been identified by police as a suspected participant in the incident.
