Overview
A series of fatal armed attacks and shootings have been reported across Mexico, Ecuador, and Honduras.
In Mexico, two separate shootings occurred in Salamanca, Guanajuato, resulting in the deaths of a driver and a windshield cleaner. In Ecuador, an attack at a commercial plaza in the La Aurora sector of Daule left one person dead and another injured, with witnesses reporting suspects on a blue motorcycle.
Subsequent reports indicate further violence in the region. In Honduras, two men working in roadside ditches in Tegucigalpa were killed by gunmen. In Ecuador, a 33-year-old man was shot and killed by two individuals on a motorcycle in the Chongón tourist area near Guayaquil; police recovered narcotics and ballistic evidence at the scene, suggesting potential links to drug trafficking.
