Armed motorcycle attack in Istanbul's Eyüpsultan kills one, injures three

Two unidentified attackers on a motorcycle opened fire with a pistol at a car gallery on Mareşal Fevzi Çakmak Street in the Eyüpsultan district of Istanbul on the evening of 21:55. The assault wounded four people; 29‑year‑old Ensar Sever later died despite medical treatment, while three others (aged 34, 30 and 27) remain hospitalized.

Police quickly located and detained a 15‑year‑old suspect, identified as U. M. T., who fled the scene on the motorcycle. Officers recovered the unlicensed firearm used in the shooting and have launched an investigation.

The incident prompted a large emergency response, with police and medical teams dispatched to the location and the surrounding area secured for evidence collection.
