Armed robbery at business on Lucas Gasselstraat in Helmond, Netherlands

Police are investigating an armed robbery that took place Saturday night around 21:40 at a commercial premises on Lucas Gasselstraat in Helmond. Two masked perpetrators arrived on a red Piaggio Zip scooter; one exited the scooter, entered the building, brandished a weapon and forced the cash register open, taking the money before fleeing on the scooter. Investigators are also searching for a black Mercedes that was observed driving alongside the scooter from the direction of Hurksestraat or Willem Prinzenstraat toward Van Hoofstraat. The police have appealed for witnesses, CCTV footage and anyone who may have seen the occupants of the black Mercedes. The case is being handled under investigation number PL21002026174963.
