Armenia prepares security and traffic measures for COP17

Armenia's Ministry of Internal Affairs is preparing security and traffic management measures for the upcoming COP17 meeting of the UN Convention on Biological Diversity. Minister Arpine Sargsyan led consultations with the police, the Rescue Service, and the Ministry of Environment to discuss public order, emergency prevention, and security along main routes and at event venues.

To minimize disruption, the Minister has instructed officials to ensure the public is properly informed about expected road closures and traffic restrictions. The coordination efforts include managing personnel and ensuring effective interaction between various security and rescue departments during the significant international event.
