Armenian opposition figures denounce Nikol Pashinyan over election tactics and judicial pressure

Sevada Ghukasyan, a resident of Achajur village in Tavush, says the June 6 parliamentary elections were heavily influenced by the use of administrative resources, voter intimidation and technological methods that swayed public opinion. He argues that Nikol Pashinyan did not genuinely win, that opposition supporters faced repression, and that activists like himself have been threatened with arrests.

Legal commentator Raffi Aslanyan criticises Pashinyan’s attempts to steer the judiciary, noting recent court decisions that ignore evidentiary standards and constitutional reforms that erode judicial independence.
