Arnavutköy building fire spreads to adjacent roof

A fire broke out in the attic of a five-story building in the Merkez neighborhood of Arnavutköy around 17:00. Driven by strong winds, the flames spread to the roof of an adjacent building, causing significant panic in the area.

Firefighting teams used ladder trucks to evacuate residents who were trapped by heavy smoke. Four individuals were treated at local hospitals for smoke inhalation.

Local residents attempted to assist in the firefighting efforts using water containers and jugs. Additionally, bystanders worked to clear a path for emergency responders by manually moving parked cars out of the narrow streets to allow fire engines access to the scene.
