Arrests after robbery attempt in Papagou and stolen‑car chase in Paphos

Greek police arrested three teenagers (ages 17, 19, and another) after they broke into a 25‑year‑old man's home in Papagou, used violence and threatened him with a knife during an attempted robbery. The victim was taken to hospital for injuries.

Cypriot police captured a 28‑year‑old who was driving a vehicle reported stolen earlier that day in the Paphos district. After refusing to stop, he fled, collided with a safety barrier, and assaulted an officer before being detained. He tested positive for narcotics.

Both incidents resulted in arrests and ongoing investigations by the respective law‑enforcement agencies.
