Arsenal winger Christos Tzolis nears injury return

Arsenal winger Christos Tzolis is making progress in his recovery from a hamstring injury sustained while playing for Greece against the Netherlands. The 24-year-old has missed Arsenal’s last four matches across all competitions.

Tzolis is expected to undergo further assessment this week to determine his availability. While a return for the upcoming match against Everton is considered unlikely, there is a possibility he could feature in the Carabao Cup tie against Fleetwood Town on October 27 or in the match against Liverpool at Anfield on November 1.

His potential return comes at a critical time for manager Mikel Arteta, who is also monitoring the fitness of Bukayo Saka following a quadriceps injury sustained during a Champions League draw against Bayern Munich.
