Struga Trims Lume defeated debutant Shkendija Aračinovo 3-0 in their opening match of the Macedonian First Football League. The winning goal came in the 23rd minute from veteran Marjan Radeski, followed by a second‑half goal from Shabanis to seal the victory.
Shkendija midfielder Besir Demiri praised his club’s preparation, saying the team had “quality preparations” and “significant reinforcements” ahead of the season. Struga’s coach Bledi Shkembi emphasized the club’s aim to reach European competition and noted the new ten‑team, 36‑round format as “suitable” for Macedonian football.
