Art exhibitions launch in Istanbul and Urla

Istanbul-based gallery Galerist is celebrating its 25th anniversary with the exhibition ‘Gönül İşi’. Opened on September 16, 2026, the exhibition brings together nearly 50 artists who have shaped the gallery's identity since its founding in 2001. The showcase features significant historical works alongside new pieces, tracing the long-term relationships and intellectual exchanges between the institution and various generations of artists.

In Urla, the Pintura Urla Sanat Galerisi will host the İDA Exhibition from November 14 to 29, 2026. Centered on the theme of ‘Light’, the exhibition will feature diverse disciplines including painting, sculpture, porcelain, and glass. Participating artists include Bilgehan Uzuner, Pınar Baklan, Yeşim Sanatçı, Kayhan Öztürk, Sanem Tufan Avcı, Alime Şahin, and Didem Burak. The event will also integrate literature, featuring prominent Turkish author Buket Uzuner in a special event to explore the connection between art, nature, and culture.
