Art Exhibitions Open at Göttingen and Gera Libraries in Germany

The women’s artist collective Farbenkreis presents the "In Bewegung" exhibition at the Stadtbibliothek Göttingen, located on the first floor of the Thomas‑Buergenthal‑Haus (Gotmarstraße 8). The show, open during library hours until 15 September 2026, invites visitors to imagine movement through paintings, drawings, installations and collages.

The "Meine Stadt der Zukunft" exhibition opened on 23 July 2026 at the Stadtbibliothek Gera (Puschkinplatz). Selected from 80 submissions by children and youths, 45 works are displayed until 5 September 2026. A jury evaluates the pieces and awards prizes sponsored by local organisations such as Sparkasse Gera‑Greiz and Thalia Buchhandlung Gera. Admission is free.
